Daily Life: Freedom Of Expression Guidelines

1. Freedom of expression is the core of Rmbl. This is a space for open thought, unfiltered expression, and real human voices. We encourage ideas in all stages — raw, refined, or somewhere in between. You don’t have to impress anyone here. You just have to be real. ⸻ 2. Low-effort posts are fine. Hate speech is not. We don’t judge the “quality” of your ramble. Quick thoughts, personal notes, messy drafts — all welcome. But we will act if you cross the line into: • Hate speech (targeting groups based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, disability, etc.) • Glorification or promotion of violence • Targeted harassment or threats • Organized hate group promotion This is not about censoring “controversial opinions.” It’s about maintaining a baseline of human decency. ⸻ 3. Discomfort is allowed. Abuse isn’t. You will probably read things here you don’t agree with. That’s healthy. But direct attacks, dehumanization, and threats are not protected “speech” on this platform. We’re here to host conversations, not host harassment. ⸻ 4. Final decisions rest with Rmbl admins. We prefer a light touch. But if moderation is needed, we will act. Admins may lock posts, remove content, or remove accounts to protect the integrity of the platform. ⸻ Notes: • These guidelines will evolve. • Major changes will be posted in replies to this thread. • Respect the space and each other.
